As a film photographer, this portrait session inspired by Lana Del Rey at Monastery Stables was one I’ll never forget. Meg and I had worked together prior for some branding shots for her new business, but she reached out to me wanting something a little different this time. She wanted an all film session with her mother’s beautiful vintage mustang! She also mentioned wanting them to be Lana Del Rey inspired, which got me absolutely stoked because I am obsessed with Lana Del Rey and her entire vibe. We pulled inspiration from a couple of Lana’s album shoots and had an absolute blast making gorgeous images that her and her mom can look back on forever. Check out all the epic film photos below!
Creative Brand Photos That are Authentic to You
The red vintage Mustang was such a cool addition to our summer film portrait session! It added the perfect pop of color and a whole lot of retro vibes to the shoot. Meg’s idea to incorporate her mother’s car and go for a Lana Del Rey-inspired theme was totally genius. We had a blast pulling inspiration from Lana and creating images that were not only gorgeous but also full of so much personality. I love when clients get super creative because it gives us so much freedom to experiment and make each session truly unique. The car added that extra something special to the photos, making it a day to remember.
Feeling inspired to book your film photographer and take some film portraits of your own?
Let’s do it! This vintage summer portrait session was so unique and filled with personality! Brand photos don’t have to be cookie-cutter with the typical colored backdrops and neutral elements. The more catered they are to your personality, the better, and Meg’s session is the perfect example of that! Learn more about me and my mission here. If you’re ready to take that next step and make your vision a reality by booking your very own film photographer, let’s chat!
