Kendall and Riley wanted an engagement session that highlighted Philly, but also felt unique with an editorial vibe. We ended up doing both! First, we started at the famous Elfreth’s Alley and continued stopping at spots in Old City. We then went to The Continental in Mid-town where the manager was kind enough to let us use the mid-century style upstairs space an hour before they opened! We got super creative and editorial with this space before heading to our final spot. They chose Love City Brewing for their final look which is a personal favorite of mine. The space is super chill and they have the most gorgeous wall that is perfect for any wedding and Philly engagement photos!
Getting Creative with Engagement Sessions
I’m a lover of all things colorful, bold, and authentic. One of the best parts of my job is being able to bring these three elements into my sessions. In this instance, exploring all sorts of different settings not only created such a great variety in the photos, but it really gave Kendall and Riley a creative space to make some fun memories in the process too! Stepping outside the box during sessions always proves to be worth it in my opinion. For example, if you’re someone who is typically drawn to more color, stay true to that with your Philly engagement photos! This time in your life is all about you and your partner, so it’s important to celebrate that in a way that feels authentic to you.
